Hard-boiling an Egg

 

1. Place desired amount of eggs in saucepan large enough to have eggs in a single-layer.

2. Completely cover eggs with water (1 inch). Heat on high until water boils. 

3. Drain immediately and serve warm, or place eggs in bowl with ice water until cool, then refrigerate.
